# AhaSlides Account Management: Password, Billing & Deletion

> Change your password, reset it if forgotten, log out all devices, cancel your subscription, and safely delete your AhaSlides account.

Your AhaSlides account settings let you manage your password, active sessions, subscription, and personal data. This page covers every account action from changing your email to permanently deleting your account.

## Change or Reset Your Password

        Click your **profile icon** in the top-right corner, then select **My Profile**.

        Select **Change password** from the profile menu.

        Type your **current password**, then enter and confirm your **new password**.

      <Step title="Save the Change">
        Click **Update password**. Your new password takes effect immediately.

        Type the email address associated with your account. Use all lowercase letters to avoid errors.

      <Step title="Request the Reset">
        Click **Reset Password**. A reset link will be sent to your inbox.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Set Your New Password">
        Open the reset email and follow the link to create a new password.
      </Step>

  If you signed up with Google or Microsoft, you may not have an AhaSlides password set. Email [hi@ahaslides.com](mailto:hi@ahaslides.com) to set one.

## Log Out from All Devices

    Click your **profile icon** and select **My Profile**.

  <Step title="Log Out Everywhere Else">
    Click **"Log out everywhere else"**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Confirm the action when prompted. All active sessions except your current one are terminated immediately.

## Account Sharing Policy

<Warning>
  AhaSlides accounts are personal. Do not share your login credentials with colleagues. Sharing an account can cause response data to be overwritten or permanently lost. Use team workspaces and collaborative editing features to work with others instead.

## Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time from either of two locations. After cancellation, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period — nothing is deleted. If you're considering a different plan instead of cancelling, see [Plans Overview](/billing/plans-overview).

**Via My Plan**
Go to **My Profile** → **My Plan** → **Cancel subscription** → Follow the on-screen prompts.

**Via Billing**
Go to **My Profile** → **Billing** → **Cancel subscription** → Follow the on-screen prompts.

When cancelling, you may be offered an extra free month to continue. After cancellation is confirmed, your plan reverts to **Free** at the end of the current billing period. All your presentations and response data are retained.

## Delete Your Account

<Warning>
  Account deletion is **permanent and cannot be undone**. All presentations, response results, and account data are deleted immediately upon confirmation.

    Go to **My Profile** → **Account deletion**.

    Click **Delete this account**, then select **Continue deletion**.

  <Step title="Confirm Your Identity">
    Enter your **email address** to confirm you want to proceed.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Permanently Delete">
    Click **Delete account**. Your account and all associated data are removed immediately.

## Frequently Asked Questions

    Yes. Go to **My Profile** and update the email field with your new address. Save the change to apply it.

  <Accordion title="Will I lose my presentations if I cancel my paid plan?">
    No. All presentations and data are retained when you downgrade to the free plan. You lose access to paid features, but your content remains safe.

  <Accordion title="Can I get a refund?">
    Yes, within 14 days of purchase — provided you have not used the plan in a live event. See the [Payment page](/billing/payment) for full details and instructions on how to request a refund.

    Email [hi@ahaslides.com](mailto:hi@ahaslides.com) immediately after deletion. Recovery may be possible if you act quickly, but it is not guaranteed once deletion is confirmed.
