# Generate Questions, Answers, and Slides with AhaSlides AI

> Use AhaSlides AI to auto-generate quiz questions, poll answer options, and full interactive slide sets from your presentation name or an imported file.

AhaSlides includes built-in AI tools that speed up presentation creation. Whether you need a full set of interactive slides or just a few answer options for an existing question, AI can generate them in seconds — available on all plans including Free.

## Generate Questions from Your Presentation Name

    Open the Presentations Dashboard and click **New Presentation** to start a fresh deck.

  <Step title="Type a presentation name or topic">
    Enter your presentation name or topic in the name field at the top of the editor.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click the AI spark icon">
    Click the AI spark icon (✨) next to the name field to trigger generation.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the suggested questions">
    AhaSlides suggests a set of interactive questions relevant to your topic. Browse through the list to see what fits.

  <Step title="Select the questions you want">
    Tick the checkboxes next to the questions you'd like to include in your deck.

  <Step title="Add to your presentation">
    Click **Add Selected** — your chosen questions are added to your presentation as interactive slides, ready to configure and present.

## Generate Answer Options for a Question

    Insert a Poll, Quiz, or other question-type slide into your presentation.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Type your question">
    Enter the question text in the question field of the slide.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Generate options">
    Click **Generate options** below the answer field. AhaSlides analyses your question and suggests relevant answer options.

  <Step title="Review the suggestions">
    Look through the AI-suggested options — they're tailored to the question you wrote.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select or edit what you want">
    Accept options as-is or click into any option to edit the text before adding it.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Click **Save** to finalise the slide with your chosen answer options.

## Generate Slides from an Imported File

When you import a PowerPoint or PDF, AhaSlides gives you three options for how AI should handle the content.

    AhaSlides imports your original slides **and** automatically generates new interactive slides — polls, quizzes, and more — based on the content of your file. Your audience sees both your static slides and the AI-generated interactive ones woven together.

    **Best for:** Turning an existing deck into a fully interactive experience with minimal manual setup.

  <Tab title="Generate Interactive Slides">
    AhaSlides analyses your file and generates only new interactive slides — your original slides are **not** imported into the presentation. Use this when you plan to present your original deck separately (e.g. in PowerPoint) and want AhaSlides to handle the interactive layer.

    **Best for:** Supplementing an existing deck you'll run outside of AhaSlides.

    No AI generation — AhaSlides converts your file to static Content slides exactly as they appear, with no interactive additions. You can always add interactive slides manually after the import is complete.

    **Best for:** Migrating a deck into AhaSlides when you want full manual control over interactivity.
