# Run Interactive Presentations in Zoom with AhaSlides

> Install the AhaSlides app from the Zoom Marketplace to run live polls, quizzes, and word clouds inside Zoom meetings and webinars on desktop.

The AhaSlides Zoom app lets you run interactive presentations from directly inside a Zoom meeting or webinar. Participants respond without leaving Zoom — and you don't need to share your screen to show slides.

  Both presenter and participants must use the **Zoom Workplace desktop app** or **Zoom Webinar desktop app**. Mobile is not supported.

## Installing the AhaSlides App

<Steps>
  <Step title="Log in to your Zoom account">
    Go to [zoom.us](https://zoom.us) and sign in with your Zoom credentials.

  <Step title="Go to the App Marketplace">
    Open the **Apps** menu in the top navigation and select **App Marketplace**.

  <Step title="Search for AhaSlides">
    Type **AhaSlides** in the search bar and select it from the results.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Add">
    Click **Add** on the AhaSlides app page.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Authorise the app">
    Review and accept the permissions requested, then click **Authorise** to complete the installation.

The app is now available in your Zoom meetings.

## Hosting a Presentation in Zoom

  <Step title="Start or join a Zoom meeting">
    Launch a scheduled meeting or start an instant meeting from the Zoom desktop app.

    Click the **Apps** button in the meeting toolbar at the bottom of the meeting window.

    Find and open AhaSlides from your installed apps list.

    Click **Host a presentation** to enter presenter mode.

  <Step title="Enable screen sharing when prompted">
    Allow Zoom to share your screen so participants can see your slides.

    Share the access code or link displayed in your presentation with your audience.

    Use the AhaSlides controls to navigate slides and manage live interactions.

## How Participants Join

    Participants receive an automatic invite notification in the Zoom meeting chat. Clicking the notification opens the AhaSlides panel directly inside their Zoom window — no extra steps required.

    Participants who have the AhaSlides Zoom app installed can open it directly from their own **Apps** button in the meeting toolbar.

    Participants visit [audience.ahaslides.com](https://audience.ahaslides.com) and enter the access code displayed in your presentation. This works even if they don't have the Zoom app installed.

## Uninstalling the App

    Navigate to [zoom.us](https://zoom.us) and open the **App Marketplace**.

    Click **Manage** to view all apps currently added to your account.
  </Step>

    Locate AhaSlides in your list of added apps.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Remove">
    Click **Remove** to uninstall the app from your Zoom account.
