The AhaSlides Zoom app lets you run interactive presentations from directly inside a Zoom meeting or webinar. Participants respond without leaving Zoom — and you don’t need to share your screen to show slides.
Both presenter and participants must use the Zoom Workplace desktop app or Zoom Webinar desktop app. Mobile is not supported.

Installing the AhaSlides App

Log in to your Zoom account

Go to zoom.us and sign in with your Zoom credentials.

Go to the App Marketplace

Open the Apps menu in the top navigation and select App Marketplace.

Search for AhaSlides

Type AhaSlides in the search bar and select it from the results.

Click Add

Click Add on the AhaSlides app page.

Authorise the app

Review and accept the permissions requested, then click Authorise to complete the installation.
The app is now available in your Zoom meetings.

Hosting a Presentation in Zoom

Start or join a Zoom meeting

Launch a scheduled meeting or start an instant meeting from the Zoom desktop app.

Open the Apps panel

Click the Apps button in the meeting toolbar at the bottom of the meeting window.

Open AhaSlides

Find and open AhaSlides from your installed apps list.

Select 'Host a presentation'

Click Host a presentation to enter presenter mode.

Choose a presentation

Select a presentation from your library to load it.

Enable screen sharing when prompted

Allow Zoom to share your screen so participants can see your slides.

Invite participants

Share the access code or link displayed in your presentation with your audience.

Present

Use the AhaSlides controls to navigate slides and manage live interactions.

How Participants Join

Participants receive an automatic invite notification in the Zoom meeting chat. Clicking the notification opens the AhaSlides panel directly inside their Zoom window — no extra steps required.

Uninstalling the App

Go to the Zoom App Marketplace

Navigate to zoom.us and open the App Marketplace.

Open your managed apps

Click Manage to view all apps currently added to your account.

Find AhaSlides

Locate AhaSlides in your list of added apps.

Click Remove

Click Remove to uninstall the app from your Zoom account.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Only the presenter needs the app. Participants can respond via the access code at audience.ahaslides.com.
No. Participants do not need an AhaSlides account to join and respond.
Yes. Share your screen and present your AhaSlides deck as usual. Participants can join via the audience URL or QR code displayed on screen.
No. The AhaSlides Zoom integration is supported on the Zoom desktop app only.
